Housing estate E No. 9 Elfów Street
Primary School No. 12, Tychy's first pavilion school. A west view from Elfów Street. The school was designed by a team of Warsaw architects in line with the latest design guidelines for educational institutions. The resulting pavilions housed four classrooms each (two on the ground and two on the first floor) and a staircase with an entrance from Elfów Street. The pavilions with other functions were situated in the inner part of the estate. The design received the award of the Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture in 1959. Primary School No. 12 operated until 1999, when it was converted into the School Complex No. 2 with Middle School No. 12 and the Secondary School of Economics.
