The ceremonial opening of the Stefan Franciszak Secondary School of Building Technology and the School of Building Crafts (now School Complex No. 5 in Tychy). Featured on the so-called honorary stand in front of the entrance are, among others, the Vice-Chairman of the Presidium of the Voivodeship National Council in Katowice and MP, Jerzy Ziętek (third from left) ,and the First Secretary of the Voivodeship Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party, Edward Gierek (second from left). The photo also shows a fragment of the sign with the school's name displayed on the building.
