ZBOWiD Square
Stare Tychy Rynek [Market Square] Rynek, ZBOWiD-u Square
A south-facing view of a fragment of the western frontage of ZBOWiD Square (today's Market Square) and St. Mary Magdalene's Church, built on a hill in 1782 and then extended in 1906-1907 and 1929. A pond oncelay in front of the church, which was drained in the mid 1920s, and the space thus created was used as a market square. The residential and service buildings of the eastern and western frontage, erected after 1959, form a market square of a small-town character.
